Well, we are getting settled in-unpacking boxes one at a time. The faux finish red bathroom is now a soft green. The home warranty has already come in handy as our dryer quit working just after the move. And for a couple days we saw evidence of fleas, but that has been quickly nipped in the bud! All in all, we love the house and we know this is where we are meant to be.Thank you so much for the Lowe's gift card. We are so excited to use it. It came down to either a lawn mower or backsplash tile for the kitchen. The process of buying our first home as been an incredible journey. You have made this experience a seamless one. You were always attentive to our needs and limitations. And for all of the known and unknown battles that you fought on our behalf, we are truly grateful.Thank you for all of you have done for us!Kerry and Elizabeth Green

We have all heard the old adage....Who is the last person to get their house painted?
Of course, a painter.
Who is the last person to get a new roof? A roofer.
We could go on and on.
So, when it was time to consider negotiating terms for another lease, the owners of Marx-Bensdorf, REALTORS started discussing the possibility of a move.
What? Why in the world would a 143 year old real estate firm consider moving after being in the same prime East Memphis location for almost years?
Some folks thought we were crazy. After all, everyone else is cutting back or closing offices.
Not us!
After nine months of serious searching and negotiating, it was decided. Marx-Bensdorf, REALTORS was going to move.
A completely renovated space with high ceilings, state of the art technology and new furniture.
Our vintage office furniture made a move, too. SRVS, a local non-profit dedicated to employing adults with learning disabilities was in dire need of office furniture. Now, these adults can work productively with our gift of desks, chairs and file cabinets.
On September 11, 2011, our office closed its doors and moved to our new home.
New office, new look! Happy agents!
Come see us, soon!
